I've disabled the plugin, removed all folders and the preta-3d registry keys but DAZ keeps trying to load the plugin anyway. any ideas on how to convince DAZ that reality doesnt need to be loaded anymore, or at least silently fail and stop holding up my load?
a forum search yeilded the following threads, neither of which have a clear solution

What do you mean by Daz Studio trying to load the plug-in?
Have you removed Reality from the Daz Studio's PlugIns Folder
I disabled the checkbox from the plugins dialog. is there a way to physically remove it from an actual directory? where is it located?
when I launch Daz, it loads all the plugins, and in the middle of launch up pops the following error
let me be perfectly clear- I caused this error by deleting the reality directory. I just want to completely remove any association between Daz and Reality, since I haven't used Reality in years...
You need to remove the following folders from your system
Resolved! I'd removed two of those folders but the one in the plugins directory was still there... once removed, the problem went away. There is still a bug here, but it is against the windows search function not Daz or even Reality. thanks for your help
