Text on thumbnail of custom saved assets, poses, etc

I've been looking to save morphs, scenes, poses etc in a custom folder on my harddrive.

I can find these item in the directory tree under Daz Studio Formats in the Content Library.

The thumbnail will typically (but not always contain a text in the upper right corner of the thumbnail.

This text is not an actual part of the image. Opening the thumbnail in an image viewer shows that the underlying image doesn't have the text

How can I instruct daz to not save assets with this text overlay or not display it in the content library?

Example of the problem in the attachment

Thankyou

  • I don't see a way to do that with user files - for products you could right-click>Edit Metadata and change the Content Type to none, I think.

  • Sorry, then method does work - I was just forgetting how to do it. You need to right-click on the folder, not the file, to get the Edit Metadata option, then select the file in the top-half of the dialogue, and use the Type drop-down middle-left to set it to None - the type tag will then be cleared.

Thankyou for your response.   I've tried the above and it doesnt seem to work.  I can change the type in the dialog you mention, and the item becomes un"X"ed in the "type" column. but if i leave the dialog (clicking accept) then reopen the dialog everything is as it was before.  The x under type column is back and the text is still there

Any idea why that might be?

These are you own files, not content? You are following these steps (righ-clicking on the Cameras folder since I don't have something to capture that)?

    File with type tag

    Set type to None

    File with no type tag

Yes.  I followed that sequence.  It seems that trying to set the type to none does not work or isn't permanent in my setup.   I've discovered that the type DOES change if I set the type to something that isn't none, (eg Camera) but all the available type options apply labels, with the exception of Support.  So setting the type to support seems to solve my immediate problem.

    Thankyou

it tends to show up if you are saving to a mapped library.  So if you save assets to a folder that is not known by Daz Studio then it will not show up.

Also, if you rename the file, the lable will not show up again.
