Obj is only for static props. It does not support rigged objects.
For the Daz to Blender plugin, hit Alt-H while your mouse is in the 3D Viewport to unhide everything. If that doesn't work, select your armature, then go to the Properties Editor (https://docs.blender.org/manual/en/2.93/editors/properties_editor.html). Open the Armature tab and the Skeleton header (https://docs.blender.org/manual/en/2.93/animation/armatures/properties/skeleton.html). Make sure every box with the white dot is active (it'll turn blue).

Obj is only for static props. It does not support rigged objects.
