i am trying to teach kota8.1 how to play the guitar....

i have kota and the rockstar guitar that is required for the guitar animations ( For kota8.1 )  and i cannot for the life of me seem to understand how to get them to work properly - no instructional info with any purchase of course....why is it that content creators cannot create a simple PDF for instructions?   the guitar does not seem to parent correctly and does not move with koto not even close.... has anybody used this or can explain the process ?  any help would be most appreciated.  The drum animations on the other hand are excellent and are a no brainer to get them to work properly......thanks
