Daz Studio 4.6 Reality 4 WHERE are the mesh lights?
I just installed reality4 and luxrender and can't find any lights added by reality. I do see the "reality render editor" but the only folder reality seems to have added is empty.
I am glad there was no trial offer because I would have thrown my hands up by now and given up. I still don't have a clue how you export an image yet.. none of the options even make sense to me.. but I will try diving into the users guide once I figure this out.
NOTE: I used to have to preset lights that came with Daz Studio.. one red and one blue.. they seem to have disappeared a few days ago? Could this have anything to do with it?

They should be where you are displaying, so not sure where they ended up! The install of Reality adds the 'newly' installed content location to Daz Studio's content library, so you may want to check the two folder names are the same, and contents of it/them. If you hover the mouse over the 'Reality' folder in your Content Library you should see a 'tool tip' display the underlying folder name.
Mine are installed to C:\Users\\Documents\Reality\Lights\Reality
As Simon says, that path has been added to my Edit > Preferences > Content Library > Content Directory Manager under DAZ Studio Formats as C:\Users\\Documents\Reality and the Lights etc. appear as new entry at the very bottom of my Content Library pane under DAZ Studio Formats.
Thank you both for your help! I am new to Daz Studio, but should have remembered all the years of using poser and having to figure out where files went if you didn't extract them to a separate folder and THEN place them where you want them. Got my lights now, just have to muddle threw all the other stuff.
I find using the 'View as List' option form the Content Library drop-down menu a lot easier to works with than the way you have it set. It looks like you are using 'View as Tree.'
Perhaps try some of the other options to see if they suit you better?
There is very little problem finding content in DAZ Studio now, you can use the search function, Smart Content, Products and Categories, as well as being able to create your own Categories for displaying content in the way that you want it displayed.
