Wormbeast by Jolab1985 crashing in iray preview:(

in Technical Help (nuts n bolts)

I love this model and have used it many times, but now it seems to crash the program when I switch to iray. It loads perfectly though. I've uninstalled and re-installed several times and still nothing. Anyone else having this issue or know a way to fix it?

    According to the file list in the readme it has several normal maps in Tiff format. Iray currently seems to crash with some Tiff files - please report this issue to support, so that the product can be updated if necessary, but for now you can load the tiff files in an image editor and save as PNG, then in the Surfaces pane select all the surfaces on the model that ue a given map and replace the Tiff version with the PNG.

    Ivan 7 is doing the same thing when I go to render. Trouble ticket submitted.
