Ambient light shadow
I just learned of use for the ambient light and i have problem with shadows.
They look the very unnatural.
I changed nothing in the AL settings.
What change to the shadows not to look like "sandy".
Sorry 4 my awful english.

Is it the Uberenvironment2 light? If so, my suggestion is to take a look at the folder: My Library -> Light Presets -> Omnifreaker -> Uberenvironment2
Select the UE2 in the Scene Tab and apply one of the Higher Quality Presets by double click.
If that doesn´t help, take a look at your Advanced Render Settings. Lower the Shading Rate to less than 0.5 and bring up the Shadow Samples to at least 24.
If you can see a difference but not satisfied, you can bring down the Shading Rate even more and even so you can increase the Shadow Samples.
But all these suggestions will also increase you render time so be careful. ;-)
Or is it AOAs Advanced Ambient Light? Than the suggestions about the Advanced Render Settings might help also.
Yes, this is Advanced Ambient Light , even 2. UE2 is also on the scen, but is is turned off.
I don´t use the AOAs Advanced Ambient Lights much. So I don´t know how to increase the quality of the lights itself.
But lowering the Shading Rate and increase the Shadow Samples in the Advanced Render Settings will show some effect to the image.
May I ask, why do you need two Ambient Lights?
OFC :)
I try too made sunlight from left site, but the light coming through this window gives too little light scattered
So trying to create a soft light coming through the window.
.
But I think that too much complicates a work
As far as I can tell, the Distant Light is the easiest way to create sun light in DAZ Studio. Did you try that?
Like I wrote before, I don´t have much experience with the AOA Lights. But the UE2 would work best in correlation with other DS Lights. Per example the Distant Light.
Increase the number of samples in the light settings. That will fix the 'fuzzy' shadows you're seeing. A word of warning though. More samples means longer render times, so increase it gradually so you use the minimum needed to get a decent quality.
Yeah, i noticed . 1hour and 22m on render picture 640x480.
Thanks 4 advice.
