Rotation Axis of Null is different type than Hip Node?

DiasporaDiaspora Posts: 439

When I select a G2F hip node and then Create>New Null>Copy Selected Item Hip

I notice that if I rotate all three axes of the Null node, the corresponding values will be very different than the corresponding values of the hip node rotated in a comparable manner. For specific reasons I want to be able to quickly rotate the hip node to match the rotation of a null node but because those rotation values don't appear to be interchangeable, I've hit a bit of a snag.

What can I do? Is there a quick and easy way of converting however a hip node might generate its rotation values to how a null might generate its values? Can I just set the null node to handle rotation the same way as a hip node would?

If I could do the latter, that would be all I need.

    Solved!:

    I select the null

    Tools>Joint Editor

and then in the viewport I right click the null Rotation Order>YZX

And now the rotations align perfectly!
