Painful downloads

Hi all

I've got install manager to download my software. I have 3mb speed download but right now its showing 154kbs as the download speed in install manager. Its taken me 5 days to try - and more than 5 attempts - to download the starter kit. I don't understand why install manager is changing the download speed - or showing that its so slow when its not. Its taking hours and hours just to download one package. any thoughts as I'm about to give up. No other downloads have this problem for any other software or websites. just this.:long:

    It may not be your download speed it is more likely to be the DAZ server that is slow so it isn't pushing the data out fast enough.

    I am on a high speed connection and am currently getting 2mb/s download speed from the Daz Store, but I download manually, not through DIM. However normally DIM is faster than manual, so it could be something your end.

    If I do consistently get very low speeds I reset my router, to make sure it is not my own line that is playing up.

    DIM seems to be downloading at about 5/8 it's usual speed recently. I'm not sure why - possibly the number of big launches and product updates.

    Maybe a lot of people were downloading at the same time? Keiko was only recently released, so it's plausible that there's a lot of people eager to get their newest addition.
