Having a forum Problem [SOLVED]

I'm not new, but this seems like a newbie problem XD

For some reason I cannot change my forum avatar or signature picture. First, I kept getting an error saying that it errored, but not giving details as to why or how. Yes, I already checked the size of the file (both the KB and the literal pixel size).

Then, that stopped and now I get a message saying "Avatar/Signature has been updated" but when I check it, it hasn't updated at all, and keeps reverting right back to both the old signature and avatar.

I find I need to rotate the file extension -- if my previous avatar was a .jpg, I need to replace it with a .gif or .png for it to take.

I found I needed to wait. I changed my avatar, or tried to, like 14 times, and it did not take. I gave up. Days, I mean many days, went by. Suddenly one day I logged in, and the change took.

I don't know if the change was not taking on the forum, or if it was some sort of a cache issue with my stupid browser.

So you could try clearing the browser cache and seeing if that works (i.e., your avatar may have changed but your browser is remembering the old image and refusing to show you the new one, even though we see it).

Problem fixed. All I had to do was upload a .png instead of a .jpg ;)
