Daz3d image is whited out in viewport

I've been using DAZ3D for a couple of years without problem but today when I opened files or tried to start a new image, it all appears whited out as in the attached image below. I've tried rebooting and reopening several times as well as tried shutting down my computer a couple of times. I've tried perspective view vs cameras and it's the same thing. I do notice that the yellow update bar in the lower right keeps updating continously which I hadn't seen before.

Any suggestions? Thank you.

  • It's trying to do an Iray draw, but isn't completing so all you have is the preliminary Smooth Shaded I think. Do you get the same with a simple scene, such as a sphere primitive?

I believe so. In the attached, I tried a sphere and tried a couple of different shaders, like wood, and it still looks like a shiny white sphere. I hadn't been using Iray for renders (set to 3Delight). Thanks for your help.

  • I think I figured it out. The draw pane was set to nvidia instead of texture shaded. I don't know how that happened since I've never touched that pane but when you mentioned iray draw I started searching for that setting. Thanks.
