How to prevent losing renders

I have ADD. Without thinking, I sometimes close a render without saving it despite spending hours on it. I tried to recover these renders in the temp folder but they are usually gone after I close Daz studio. Is there anything I can do to prevent this from happening again? It's getting to a point where I can no longer tolerate it.

When you close DS those temp files get automatically deleted. You have the option to change the location of the temp directory, so maybe if you changed it to a different location like a thumb drive or your C drive that won't happen. I really don't know... give it a try.

They are usually cleared on restarting DS, so they should still be there up to then. One option would be to replace the render command/button with a script that renders, then does an image save to a safe location (or pormpts you to save).
