My Troubles with the Creature Creator

I am trying to make a satyr character using M4 and the Creature Creator, in Poser 10. First of all, what's up with the hooved legs, and that funny thing they do when you rotate the camera around them? Is there a way to fix that? Also, even though they are parented to the character, they do not pose with him. Why not? Also, there don't seem to be morphs for the shape of them...I didn't like the big womanly thighs on them and couldn't figure out how to fix it in Poser, so I exported the thighs into Blacksmith3d and morphed them, then imported them back into Poser as a morph target, which worked fine, except then they didn't transition smoothly from the hip anymore so I tried to do the same thing with it, and when I loaded it back into Poser as a morph target, I was told it had the wrong number of vertices. I tried it many times and it said the same thing. Why did it work with the thighs but not the hip? (What I was doing specifically was using the transmorph chisel to make them fit his human shape. Worked fine on the thighs. That isn't supposed to change the vertices, so what is the problem?) I also can't figure out how to morph the horns in an external program, I don't know which parts of them I have to send out, on what settings, etc.

first of all, what Creature Creator items do you have?

    Is it this : http://www.daz3d.com/michael-4-creature-creator-morphs
    or this : http://www.daz3d.com/michael-4-creature-creator-add-ons

    or do you have both?

The V4 and M4 add-ons are conforms that the figures 'wear' just like any piece of clothing, you do not parent them to the legs. The figure's legs are then hidden from the thighs down, there should be a visibility preset to do this, and the texture preset adds a transmap to the add-ons to blend them to the figures leg texture. It is the addition of the transmap that can cause the add-ons to look weird in the preview viewport.

Thanks, they pose with him now! Still can't morph them very much in Poser, though; most of the parameter dials that worked on the figure's legs don't work on them. Also still puzzled why my hip morph didn't work even though I don't really need it anymore. Should I conform his loincloth to M4, or to the hooved legs?

As for the horns: If I wanted to make a morph for the whole horn, what do I need to export to do that? "Body" didn't work. Do I use horn base + everything after it, or just horn base, or what?

Any clothing should be conformed to the figure. The legs have a limited number of morphs built in to them, to get them to shape to an extreme or custom morphed figure you will need to transfer the figure morphs to the legs. DS has a Transfer Active Morphs function but I don't know if Poser 10 does. I have moved on from the gen 4 figures so I don't have their Creature Creator packs installed but I think the horns were separate left and right so you would have to morph them separately.
