Autofit Dynamic Clothes

Argh.

I bought the dynamic angelic robe for V4 because I read in a thread somewhere that the V4 dynamic clothes work just fine with G2F. Problem is: the auto-fit dialog doesn't automatically pop up when I try to load the robe onto my G2F character, instead, it loads the robe into the scene all by itself. I tried "fit to" which seemed like it might work, but didn't.

Thanks for any helpful suggestions.

M.

Dynamics won't AutoFit - instead, as long as the figure you want to use them on is not too far from the shape of the original, you can do an animated drape. Put your figure in the zero pose, or apply a starting pose if one comes with the clothing, select all of the bones on the figure, and in the Timeline (at frame 0) click the Add keyframe button (you may need to enable the display of advanced controls from the pane's option menu - the lined button in the top corner). Now drag the time marker in the Timeline to the last frame, 30 by default, and apply your desired pose. Drag the time marker back to frame zero, where the figure should revert to the base pose, and in the Dynamic Clothing pane set the drape type to animated instead of single frame, make any other changes you want, and click Drape.

Glad I asked - I never would have figured that out in a million years! Thanks.
