Shoes warping after saved as asset and reloaded

I've modelled a shoe in Blender, exported as obj, imported to Daz.

Steps:

I set the foot position on my Gen 8 base model.

bake joint rotates

put the JCM's back

transfer utility with Gen 8 as current, and my shoe as default.

make sure to set my shoe back to high.

remove my foot position to flatten the shoe

bake rotations again

remove Gen8

export the shoe then re-import and wipe the JCMs again.

add Gen 8 back and fit, then put back the foot position

The issue occurs after I save as a figure/prop asset and then delete Gen 8 and start a new Gen 8 and use my prop to add my shoe back.

Before and After picture attached.

  • The mesh is very high res, could that be the problem?

  • Answer, yes the model was waaaaaaaaaaay too high poly.  re-did it with lower poly and now it's perfect.
