Third Party Content?

I was wondering if any of you all had successfully installed certain items from Renderosity into Studio 4.7
Specifically I'm having trouble with my SAV Hair. Khione, Greek Fantasy II. Both of those have a G2F part, but for whatever reason when I unzip the files they just don't show in the content tree. They are on the hard drive. I did get OOT's XAVA hair in there OK and it shows. I also was able to put all my Genesis I character packs into the folders just by unzipping them.
The Khione hair only has 1 file period...so it's not like I didn't download all of it b/c I'm good at doing that at time :)
Anyone have any suggestions? It was like the content library just refused to see it.
Thanks!

What is the full path and filename & extension of one of the files that isn't showing up?
SAV Hair are provided in Poser format with poses to refit the hair prop to various figures, there's no DS-specific version provided (which is the case for OOT Xava hair).
So you'll have to look in the content tab (not smart content), in your poser content directory.
For Khione hair, for example, according to the readme the hair prop will be in Props:SAV:KhioneHair_Prop
You load it first, then use the G2F refit pose found in Pose:SAV:KhioneHairMats&Refits;:!Refits
And the DS materials will be under Pose:SAV:KhioneHairMats&Refits; too, with the poser pz2 files.
OK. I think I know the problem then. I only mapped Daz Studio. I will have to go back and map a Poser content one. That makes sense now that I see your post. The other hair had .duf files as did the character packs. This would be why they showed up.
I was trying to avoid adding any actual "Poser" files to studio because I have always disliked how it reads inside the program. I feel like I have to dig to find the non studio files.
Oh well at least I think I know how to fix it!
Yes, you will need to map your content folder as a poser content directory too, and then you should find the files.
If you really want it in your DS content library you can always move the materials there, and resave the hair in DS format the first time you'll use it.
Thank you. I will keep that in mind, but I normally don't resave stuff as it seems daunting. I tried with Genesis all those years ago, but got disappointed with lots of things. So for G2 I might learn that later :) I am just excited to find I have some favorite hair that I can put on my G2 ladies.
I will probably just be lazy and tell it to find my hair runtime I already have for Poser since all those files are already there.
Thanks again.
