Turn off Keyboard camera movements?

Is there someway to turn off the Keyboard Camera movements, or make them need a modifier key to work?

I'm in 4.7, so might be new in this...but I'm finding I'll click in a search box, but it doesn't actually activate...I'll start typing and my carefully set camera moves all to @#!@# :(

    Shift-k will toggle the controls off and on, or you can edit the keys used in Window>Workspace>Customise, by finding the command on the left under View Control, right-clicking on it, choosing Change Keyboard Shortcut and hitting your chosen key combination.
