Question on manipulating clothing

Hey everyone,

So I'm currently working on a story where two guys are going to have a bit of an argument. Let's call them Adam and Ben, for easiness.

What I'd like to do is have Adam grab Ben by his shirt/tee/sweater in a fist - so that the shirt balls up in Adam's fist (or at least looks like it does) and Bens shirt stretches and rises to react?  I hope you know what I'm getting at.... I'm suddenly realising that this is a scene that's easy to visualise in my head than it is to put into words.... XD

I've seen https://www.daz3d.com/mesh-grabber-bundle-win but I'm not sure if this is going to do what I want?

If anyone has any tips, tricks or can point me in the general direction, I'd really appreciate it.  I hope that my poor attempt at describing a scene doesn't put you off!

Thanks

John

You might get there with mesh grabber, it allows you to pull the mesh in any kind of direction with different fall-offs. Also mesh grabber is great in a lot of other circumstances where you need a quick mesh edit.

The other option is a dforce magnet, but that's animation based I think but it does looks the most like the thing you are asking for :
