G8F not loading?

in Technical Help (nuts n bolts)

Is anyone else having issues with G8F characters not loading for them?  I will try to load one into a complety empty, new scene space, and all it does is sit and give me a "Daz not responding" forever, until I just close the whole program... I do NOT have this issue with ANY other items, ONLY with G8F and G8.1F...

    Not enough information.

    What does your log say? (Help->Troubleshooting->View Log File)

    Attach the log to your post with "Attach a File" above "Post Comment" button, do not copy the text to the message area.

    Ok, so I deleted the log, and restarted Daz to give me a fresh log file when I tried to load the G8F base figure. 

    This is the log file it gave me...

    Ok, looks like that was just a part of the process, but it can already be seen that there are lots of problems with your installed G8F characters and morphs, which causes DS trying to find solutions (=takes a lot of time)

    If you leave DS loading G8F, how long does it take for G8F to load - It can even take over an hour if the problems are severe enough.

    The easiest solution is to start uninstalling the products that are mentioned on the log.

    I have started uninstalling some of them, as for how long it actually takes to load, after 25 or so minutes, I was pretty disgusted and killed the whole program so I could restart it...

    I think what I'll do is look through my system, find the items I've most recently installed, and yank all of them back out and see where the problem seems to come in.  I keep all my installed items on a back up drive in thier compressed state, sorted by when I got them, so hopefullly I won't have to dig back too far.

    Thanks for the help... I'm just wondering why it's suddenly all errors though. lol

    When you get the loading time down, post a new copy of the log and we can look at the remaining problems/warnings.

    I noticed that you have some Xtransfer morphs as well - Converted characters can also be source of problems when the process is importing morphs from previous generation into one that they were never meant for.

    If you have characters or morph packages from other sites put them in their own (by site) libraries that way you can disable the libraries to narrow down where a problem could be.

    I have this same issue it started on like the 26th and i've barely made any progress fixing it and even then it still crashes for me.
