I know we all have seen this error message, basically it prevents your files from being displayed in Smart Content. I watched, watched, re watched the tutorial on the so called easy fix, however after the part where you "Process Metadate Que" and "Re Import Matadata " that is when it goes fudge cake on me. 

I do not get the log in as being in Daz Central with the studio version of 4.15 I do not have to log in, I see the content however it still does not display in the Smart Content. I am DOA and without the content one cannot create images, etc. I have watched the youtube video  from Tomasi   studios all day and even go step by step still I cannot display my files in Smart Content. Any more suggestions on how to get my files displayed.

Is the content not appearing the Content Library pane under Daz Studio Formats (or in soem cases Poser Formats)? If not then there is a more serious issue before sorting out PostgreSQL.

I don't suppose OP is talking abount Content Library pane. Afaik, content library is not dependent on the CMS except for category information. Smart Content on the other hand...

Also given that the tutorials emphasize on accessing content using smart content pane, I am not surprised if many new users are frustrated when the metadata doesn't install properly for whatever reasons.

So there's nothing I can do about it. I'm screwed.

No your not, there are fixes we just need to figure out what is causing the issues. I may require you submitting a Tech Support ticket in the end though if you can't get you running.

Which PostgreSQL CMS do you have installed? There is PostgreSQL CMS and PostgreSQL CMS from Valentina CMS Conversions.

I have the PostgreSQL CMS

I think thats the one according to the error message I see when I go into the studio....

Nothing seems to work. I even tried uninatall and re install the postgres and still that error maessage shows up with no  files displayed in smart content 

What 's left to do? 

I have not heard back from Tech support re my help ticket on this matter. Whats up?

Thank you all for your comments. 

I got a response from Tech support and they had me simply un install the studio and re install it. the error message disapeared and my files are now displayed in the smart content.  All is well in the universe.
