Props loading in weird spots

So I just bought this cause you know, sale -

And so far, I would assume that it looks ok. The problem is that when I go to load certain parts of the prop, it loads waaaaaaaaaaaaay off the main grid, like way up in the air. In order to find where the main/ground grid is again, I have to load a different small prop at the center, click on the "View Frame" button, and then pan around till I find it and drag it back down to earth. Any idea why this might be happening? If there isn't a fix for it, is there a ay to maybe increase the main grid area so I can work with larger scenes while keeping my grid? Thanks.

It looks like it's enormous and the upper levels probably load at the correct height for the fully loaded prop. Your best bet would be to load whatever bits you want and lower them on Y axis until they are at ground level.

It's probably parented to another part which controls the placement and scale. try loading one of the two prebuilt sections and then delete what you don't want.

  • zombietaggerung - I think you're right. I'm checking where the prop loads, and I was able pull it down after locating the grid again.

FSMCDesigns - You're right. When I loaded the full prop (or part of it) then I saw the portion floating into the air.

Still wish there was a way make the grid larger.
