Cache clearing rendered animation frames

Is it possible to clear the cache after each frame is rendered to a file?

I am reaching the limits of my graphics card so I have started cluching at straws.

Rendering with 1060 6g

It would seem that wouldn't help, in fact make things worse. I'll paraphrase from an earlier suggestion posted,..."...turn on Iray Preview for your viewport. This will keep the scene in memory so it doesn't need to reload every frame." So clearing the cashe after each frame will make DS reload all the textures before rendering each frame, which will obviously slow things down considerably. What can I suggest apart from getting a GPU with more VRAM..... not really much. It's a particuarly bad time to buy graphics cards unless you have heaps of money, which few of us do.... sorry.
