When an item lists only Poser will it still appear in the smart content in Daz?
What does it mean when it says .DS textures inlcuded? Some "adjustment may be necessary".
Will M4 Poser stuff work in Daz even if it is not listed?
Then it may says Daz to unity bridge...
Does that mean it will work in Daz?

Example, this works with the "bridges" but where is the Poser to Daz bridge?

I only see an obj file listed that would work in Daz that seems like it would have no morphs or auto fit etc...
I also don't think it would show up in the smart content or conform to any of M4's poses...
It seem basically this is useless in Daz.
Will these textures work in Daz for M4?

Do these poses work on M4 in Daz? It does not mention Daz specifically.

@RexRed the outfit M401 you linked is older I don't believe it will show in Smart content you would need to gointo the Poser folder runtime/libraries /character and it should show up the any textures for it would show up in the pose folder.
Caleb should work and so should the pose set but again ,they are set up in Runtime in the old Poser format ......
What won't work are Poser material files that use Poser specific shades MC6 files
Thansk Carrie, that is very helpful indeed!
I think it is worth trying some of the HD M4 textures even if I have to search for them in a litany of folders. :)
In certain light and setting M4 can stand his ground up against M8.1
That is incorrect.
Dare to leave the Smart Content and venture in the non-smart Content Library
That is incorrect.
That it has a DAZ|Studio option listed on the product page should be hint enough.
They are poses.
Oh I still use the Generation 4 textures on my Genesis 3 and 8 figures ,while the aren't HD as those figures know it , I like them alot ,I've just moved alot of the stuff up to Genesis 3&8 .......
Uzilite's M401 outfit can be installed with Daz Connect which creates a M401 product with files in the Smart Content tab. Unfortunately all of the files are categorized into Lost and Found.
I manually re-categorized the files out of the Lost and Found category and added file types and compatibilities with the Content DB Editor.
As an added note, if products in Poser format appear in the Smart Content tab, you have the ability to add the product and it's files to your Daz Studio Formats Library by dragging shortcuts from the Smart Content Tab.
