Cant load scene item

Trying to load 'Dream Home Upper Floor Guest Room'

On an empty scene, it says I need something selected, so i load a default figure and then try to load, nothing happens; I double click to load, like usual, and nothing.

I checked and it doesn't say it needs any other products.

Using Daz Studio 4.7 pro

That sounds as if you are trying to load a material file. A lot of the Dream Home stuff comes as Poser figures with DS materials to be applied after loading, so you need both and to load the model from the Poser content directory before applying the DS settings.

Did you install both parts of the Dream Home Upper Floor Guest Room? You should have "Dream Home Upper Floor Guest Room" (the model, the textures, and the Poser library files) and "Dream Home Upper Floor Guest Room StudioCF" (the DAZ Studio material files). Assuming you do, and assuming you installed with the install manager using the default locations, in the Content Library pane go to Poser Formats>My DAZ 3D Library>Figure>Dream Home/Upper Guest Room and double-click the DH_UGC file - that should load the model, though as it loads in the correct place to fit with the rest of the house it will be some way out of the default view; use cmd(Mac)/ctrl(Win)-f to frame the scene so you can see the model, and select it (optionally, use the translate tools to move it into the middle of the scene). Now with the model still selected go to DAZ Studio Formats>My DAZ 3D Library>Props>Architecture>Dream Home>Upper Guest Room and double-click the DH_UGC file to apply the DAZ Studio material settings.

LOL I'm an idiot; all I was seeing was the transform handles, even after I had zoomed out. All I needed to do was zoom out more; didn't know about the Poser aspect though.
