Bundle Clothes

I don't own any clothes for the Genesis Male So I was thinking about buying the bundle - Michael 5: The Dynamic Wardrobe - It says Compatible Figures: Genesis --

Do these clothes work on the Genesis if you don't own Michael 5 - It looks like a good bundle of clothes

They will work on Genesis 1, but if you want to use them on Genesis 2 Male you may need to use some extra steps to get them working. These are dynamic rather than conforming clothes, so Autofit won't work with them.

FYI, Michael 5 is a morph for Genesis not a separate figure. All characters with a '5' after their name will be for Genesis including female characters and creature characters, however not all characters for Genesis will have a '5' in their name as it is used mostly for DAZ Original characters and seldom for PA characters.

Dynamic clothes work a bit differently to conforming clothes and don't reshape with the figure. This can actually work to your advantage in some cases, since you can freeform drape it to any figure, but getting a good fit will depend on how different the target figure is. A smaller figure will make the clothes appear loose, while a larger figure will stretch them out.

If you have the paid dynamic clothing plugin you can shrink clothes by a certain percentage. It's not an exact science, but it helps to clean up some of the baggy clothes on slightly different builds.

Thanks for all the great answers - I didn't get them this time - I'm still a little more focused on the G2 stuff but one day - I'm gonna buy something for genesis - lol
