Problems With Missing Renders

Quick question. I recently noticed the renderer behaved differently. Instead of going directly to the output screen, the interface pops up an open file window to save the non-exsiting render. Then, after the render 'finishes', the engine crashes, the image is not saved or visible and no sign of the rendered process is detected. Was there a recent hack into the server(s)?

If you're using an Iray server, you should probably bring this up with the people who maintain it. AFAIK, Daz Studio has nothing to do with third-party Iray server farms.
You should still be able to render locally if you disable the Iray server option.
Thx. How do you disable the option and would the render/content files affect the GPU memory?
It's in the Render Settings pane, under the Advanced tab. I've never used it, so I'm not entirely sure how it works. How did you set the Iray Server up in the first place?
If you render locally, then yes, all the objects in your scene need to be loaded into the GPU memory. If you don't have enough GPU memory, it'll fall back to CPU, which does the same thing but takes longer.
My problem is the renderr seems to contain bugs. When the renderer function is selected, the save file menu window pops up. If a location is selected, the renderer will run its complete cycle, but the rendered file is not written. It seems as if the DAZ Central source version is corrupt. I needed to know about memory and the Render Library; is there a tab for adjusting memory allocation?
I find Daz Central subpar, which is why I use Daz Install Manager instead. So it's possible you have a corrupt install, in which case I'd recommend uninstalling and using DIM instead.
Before you do that, what does your log file say? It's under the Help menu, under Troubleshooting, IIRC.
What are your Render Settings, in the General section under the Editor tab? What are you selecting as the save location?
Could you take a screenshot of your render settings, so that we can see what's going on.
The error messages will be in the log file, so it'd really help if you posted anything you see in there.
I think the issue started when an OBJ was placed in the scene. The OBJ rendered black and every since the renderer has had a glitch. A log file can be produced, it will be in the next marked post.
A new install did occur but the date(s) may not be on the log.
If you look at the log you will not see the problem.
What I see is problems;
You didn't say that you do not have any Nvidia GPU's in the system, which means that you can only do renders with the CPU
You are logging in to DS and allowing DAZ Connect to 'update' things while you are working with DS
Your content libraries are on OneDrive
Possible causes for your problems;
Windows updates / Microsoft updating your display drivers
DAZ Connect 'updating' a plugin that you have installed and breaking it in the process
You have problems with your content on OneDrive (wrong path with the barstool)
I copied the parts that jumped out of the log, if anyone else has a quick solution to 'QLayout' problems
The last time you logged a successful render, was August 3rd at 03:56 and then you ran "animated textures.dse" (probably not related)
On August 6 at 16:15 you got an error initializing OpenGL: Invalid enumerator
The same day you got these;
Loaded file: puttron.duf
Unable to locate Bryce. [???]
