IRAY rend error: CUDA device 0 (GeForce GT 730)

DAZ Studio vesion: 4.9

Graphics Card: GeForce GT 730 only (Driver Version 388.71)

GPU age: 4 years plus

Operation: Rendering

Other issue: financial, i can't afford a new Graphics card right now

More details about the case:

- i have both DAZ Studio 4.9 and 4.12 Beta. but i only use 4.9 for rendering because it has higher output since it is capable of using my GPU.

- i haven't changed any setting for DAZ and my GPU, and it works fine for years until now.

- my routine before i render is i always check in the Task Manager that my CPU, GPU, Memory, and Disk have low percentage for their operations.

- i'm aware that my GPU is a cheap and low level one, but it has been performing well enough before. what i'm rendering is a scene or setting which i have already rendered many times before. meaning my system works fine back then. the version that i'm actually trying to render right now is simpler because i have removed some characters and objects from the original scene. and so i'm totally confused how come my Iray is now finding it hard to render a simpler scene compared to what it can render before?

- what happens is my screen usually goes black for a few seconds whenever the program has already produced some iterations. it will eventually come back, and it would seem like the operation is continuing. but once the render time runs out or when you cancel the operation, DAZ Studio will just automatically close. so you can't retrieve any output. or in some rare case, the operation will manage to complete, but the output is just 11% for 2 hours as compared to what it can do before which is around 40 to 50% plus for exactly the same setting.

so my Questions are:

1) what could be the reason why my GPU or Iray is acting like this lately? is my GPU physically degrading because of its age?

2a) what can i do to make my GPU or Iray perform again the way that it used to? can it be fixed by just adjusting some settings?

2b) or is there already an available Driver for my GPU which supports CUDA processing once again, either for DAZ Studio 4.9 or 4.12 Beta?
