I am getting a glitch where some prop objects I purchased do not have any sufrace or UV information and just look like basic gray shapes.I have used Daz Central, DIM and manual installtion on the packages and the error still happens. It just seems to be happening with two purchases made in the last two days. Any suggestions are appreciated.

When you say "basic gray shapes", do you mean that they come into the scene as boxes? If so, that means that the geometry is missing.
And those 2 purchases are which products? [so if we have them we can take a look]
The only two I have seen this problem with at this point is the Weight Workout Props the JWolf and the Home Gym by Charlie.
I do not see any separate geometry files in the manual download so I do not know if that is the issue.
If you can see other items in the scene looking normal and only these props looking like squares then yes that is a sign of missing geometry.
I do not have those sets but going by their product pages there should be props so there should be "data" folders which would have their geometry. CS are the only ones that get those files added to the products so a ticket would be required to notify them. Check a fresh zip folder before launching the ticket in case it has been fixed 'cause you wouldn't be the only one missing these items.

Filing a ticket gets a date on the request. One can ask for a refund on non-working items purchased within 30 days of the request.
n.b. Many things might load looking grey or white, but they look like what they should be {not squares}. One then applies a mat file to give them their textures.
There are no .obj's in the pack, only .duf which record the original geometry. Are you loading the correct files? Here is the readme for the Home Gym so you can see the files that are suppose to be in the pack and where they are. The same for Weight Workout Props and Poses for Genesis 8
.dsf files are the geometry files in lieu of .obj files.
There is no way to apply a mat file because the objects do have any attributes in the surfaces tab. They do not show up in a render by themselves and are invisible when placed in a scene with other items.
All the listed files are installed, I guess there is a problem with the files.
When you send in your ticket it is a good thing to attach some images of the problem so people can see what you're talking about.
