"mcm_toonmom_BrowDown" Problems

The morph "mcm_toonmom_BrowDown" is supposed to have an ERC Multiply on it so it's only dialed in when Toon Mom is, but it doesn't. It gets applied when I move any G8F brow, giving the figure a cavewoman forehead. Normally I'd just uninstall the offending product, but I don't want to divorce the Toon Family.
I uninstalled and reinstalled looking for an update, but no such luck.
I already applied the ERC Multiply in the Property Hierarchy to fix it. I'm just not sure how to fix the asset files in a way that won't cause complications later--such as if an update is released. The whole Property Hierarchy system looks like a house of cards to me. One wrong move, and it all comes tumbling down.

There isn't a way to fix the issue and not have an update overwrite it, other than simply saving a new character preset without saving the fix as an asset. Have you reported the issue to Daz so that it can get an official fix?
Yes, but based on experience I'm not expecting it to drop anytime soon.
If I just load the character, apply the ERC Multiply, and overwrite the asset files on my hard drive, will that cause problems when it's updated?
The update will replace your fix - but hopefully with a fix of its own.
In case anybody else is having this problem:
I added an ERC Multiply for FBM_ToonMom to the faulty morph in the Property Hierarchy, saved out the corrected morph as a Morph Asset, and replaced the one in "data/DAZ 3D/Genesis 8/Female/Morphs/joequick/toonmom". I tested it and it works fine now.
Hopefully Daz/JoeQuick can push a fix relatively quickly.
