I desperately need help with skin.

I seem to have a problem making skin on a Genesis 2 male lighter,
I have 2 ideas for images but both require the skin to be almost white.
I know that there is someone out there who can help me without using terms I don't understand.
I know I'm using a piece of software that requires me to use strange terms but I have an underlying issue that stops me from learning quite as easy as I should.
I suffer from a mental illness that makes my mind somewhat like the mind of a child, I get easily confused and then I end up getting angry at myself.
I have taught myself to use DAZ to a certain degree but this is beyond baffling!! I have moved every slider on the face skin but i still cant get the effect I want. I could just use a genesis male but I want the extra facial detail I get from genesis 2 males.
Please help.

Do you just want the grey skin that comes with Genesis bas figure.
If so, select Genesis 2 in the Scene pane, then select the surfaces in the Surfaces pane.
Go to the Content Library pane, DAZ Studio Formats > My DAZ 3D Library > Shader Prresets > DSDefaults > dzDefault.DUF
That will make the skin much lighter.
So I spent hours playing with sliders and that's all I had to do?
It took like 1 minute to do (cause i had to keep coming to look what you said)
a couple of clicks and it looks way better already and I aint even messed with it yet!!
Nice one!!
I noticed loading more than one UberEnvironment2 makes the skin gradually paler. It is a good technique for ghosts.
