Tweaking Transfered Costumes

I've been playign with porting a couple armors from G2 to G8 and have one little issue with them. Some of the items deform rather heavily when the character moves as the transfer didn't know which parts were stiff and which weren't.

What do you do to make some parts more "solid" than others so they don't deform when, say, you rotate a joint?

    You will most likely need to edit the weight maps.
