Freebie stuff question

Hello! I just want to make another quick topic about freebie stuff.

Why do i find amazing free stuff (not only quality but also a wider amount of thematics like buildings, rooms, locations etc) in some blender focused forum than here on daz or daz focused sites?

 

For example: i couldnt find much or any freebie stuff regarding

- hospital

- pond/forest

- ground

- fences

- tables

but in that certain blender-forum i at least found something.

I ofc would like to send my appreciation to all those creators but i don't have the money to buy 10-50 dollar scenery assets and locations. thats why freebie stuff is so attractive for. especially since i am a newbie. 

 

i hope you understand.

 

and yes its more like constructive criticism i guess

    Moved to Art Studio as it is not a Daz Studio question.

    For one thing, people use belnder to create the content for Blender so it is a one-application process; for Daz Studio content has to be created in another application.

    To be honest, the DAZ forums are a really disorganized place to try to find anything in. When looking for freebies, Renderosity and ShareCG are both set up to help rather than hinder. I tend to upload all of my freebies to Renderosity, and a very few here too (usually the ones triggered by requests or discussions here).

    You might want to poke around here: Poser and Daz Free Resources (miraheze.org). This is a wiki that contains thousands of freebie locations from many many sites and creators. It is a work in progress. It is not all grouped and categorized but there is some order. When you do a search on the site just remember that it is case sensitive. Here is the results for "hospital" Search results for "hospital" - Poser and Daz Studio Free Resources Wiki (miraheze.org). A note 3WC refers to the section of the forums where freebies are discussed and in that section are lists of freebies. These freebie lists are also contained in the wiki. Hope the wiki is of help to you.
