Bizarre new issue: Figures and objects in Viewport not visible

Encountered a strange issue today.

Working on a scene as normally, zooming in, and suddenly everything became invisible. Figures and objects gone from view. I tried zooming back out thinking I went too far in but nothing changed. Tried using View Frame button ... still nothing. Tried Reset button, and nothing as well! Everything is still in the Scene tab, marked as visible, and I am still able to move around and can see the t-pose figure icon next to (presumably) where the figure would be if I could see them in the Viewport. 

Restarting Daz and opening my project brings me back to the same issue. Made the scene into a subset and tried to open it in a new project brought the same issue. Nothing seems to fix this and I can't find any mention of anyone else encountering this issue from Google. 

 

This is very frusterating. I would appreciate any help and assistance on this.

what happens when you reset the viewport?

Try selecting just one item and then use frame selection - if you use it with nothing selected it will try to frame everything, and that might be the issue - you are now so far back that the base floor grid has shrunk to a point.
