This is the second time I have asked this question and as I had no reply the first time here goes again;

When Dson creates the clothing for Poser it makes its own .obj file which is what Poser reads into its PMD or something like that-

Where does Dson store these created .obj files????????????

Also why do some vendors say they include a DSON Core installer as in-

Pretty Hands Poses and Nail Colors for Genesis 2 Female(s)

This product includes: •1 DSON Core Installer

And there is not a Poser Companion file?????????
This is no help when you purchase it to use in Poser and can't

I've really started to like Genesis 2 and it works well in Poser but there are no hand poses to use?

    The DSON format is DAZ Studio. The DSON Importer for Poser is a plug-in that will read DSON-format files that have been given Poser companion files, or which can be used by the free Dimension3D script to import any DSON format user file. So if you see DSON Core but no PoserCF then the product isn't Poser-compatible, unless it's a pure morph set that doesn't require user files at all.

    Any files the importer creates should be in the folder set as a writable Runtime in Scripts>DSON Support>Importer Preferences

    Did you download the Genesis 2 Starter Essentials?

    No, I didn’t, I just tried a search and found Aiko 6 starter bundle, Aiko 6 pro bundle and Mei Lin 6 bundle but not the genesis 2 basis figure.

    Go to your product library and download and install the Genesis Starter Essentials, which are part of DS 4.7

    I know my screen shot says 4.6, but it will be the same for 4.7

    Thanks for explaining the difference!

    Still would love to know where DSON stores the geometry's though, as reversing the procedure by importing GF2 with clothes from Poser into Daz still brings up the same missing geometry error?

    It should be in the relative path given in the folder listed in the preferences.
