Problem with Daz 4.7 install

Hi all,
I have a small problem with the install of 4.7 that I can't figure out. I loaded the software fresh on my work computer and noticed it has a new interface with a new tab configuration and workspace layout as well as listing 4.7 in my menu. I already had the earlier version loaded on my home computer, and tried to upgrade to 4.7 but it did not load the upgrade. My menu still says the previous version and the work interface is still like the old version. So I un-installed everything and installed new, but still got the same result. The old interface and the software listed in the menu doesn't say 4.7. Can anyone explain why this is happening?
thanks,
Vince

check in here https://www.daz3d.com/get_studio to get 4.7 Version
Thanks. I did get the 4.7 this way, but it would not install over the earlier version. I first tried using the Install Manager then did a manual install but it still retained the previous version.

It should install a new DAZ Studio, the old 4.6 still remain
No, installing 4.7 will - or should - remove 4.6
sure?
mine doesn`t remove my 4.6 Version it add a new one...
Was the old installed in a different way - Install Manager vs stand-alone installer?
If you installed DS4.6 using a stand-alone installer and install 4.7 using DIM, they may be installing to different locations. The Default install location DIM uses is C:\Program Files\DAZ 3D\DAZStudio4. I would uninstall using the uninstallers for the stand-alone installers so you just have one location.
No; anyone was installed with DIM (and with the same path).
I also had the 4.7 Test Version installed with DIM and it also remain after installing the official 4.7 - so I had all 3 Versions installed (I uninstalled the Test Version of 4.7)
(Test Version means Public Build)
Public Build would remain, it's separate from the release build. Though of course there's no point in having it installed at the moment, unless you want two independent versions of DS for some reason.
Yes; I know. That`s why I uninstalled it. I only say that there are 3 different Versions of DAZ Studio are running after Installation of the official 4.7 and none of them where replaced by the Installation of 4.7
