Script to turn off Displacement Limits

I have been experimenting with displacement shaders is DS. You can get some very realistic surfaces, if I crank of up displacement strength on a PBR shader, I can get impressive results.
But it is a pain to have to turn off limits on Displacement Strength every time. Is there a way to set a global preference, or use a script?

I tried loading the PBR shader onto a primitive, added a dsiplacement map to enable the displacement slider, turn the limit off in the properties dialogue, then I saved it as a second PBR shader preset but when the options box pops up I clicked uncheck all, then just checked the displacment value checkbox. When loading the new shader onto a primitive again, the displacement limits remained off. As it was the only item checked, it doesnt effect any other items in the shader.
