Music For Animations - How Many Electronic Genres Are There?

I recently upgraded some music creation software, which included picking several collections of "loops" in various genres.  Ths list of genre choices was long, and mostly electronic, so I decided to educate myself on the differences, leading to this:

Two dozen+ major genres, some with an even greater number of sub-genres, so maybe 400 total, each of which has a description in that list.  

I'm leaning toward acoustic, blues, rock and maybe funk collections (altogether about 5% of the total I can pick from).
