Downloading unrelated content

Having a little bit of an issue. Let's say that I'm downloading a zip file. The file is a obj. file with textures included. Keep in mind that these files are unrelated to Daz studio. The problem is every time I download something like this for some reason it wants to save it as a daz studio file. Basically once the file is downloaded, on the left side of the file's name there is a the daz studio icon. Once the file has been unzipped, or extracted, then doubled clicked to open the folder for the content I'm automatically taken to the daz studio program. Which I've learned that daz will not load a obj. file unless you select the import button, and search through your documents on your computer. I believe that the issue is that a shortcut is being created automatically between the unrelated file, and daz studio. I question to all this, is how do I stop this issue from reoccurring?

It sounds like the default for zip files has been changed. So let's go ahead and fix that :)

Right click any zip file ( it doesn't matter which one any will do )
    Select "Properties" from the menu.
On the "General" tab click the "Change" button and select "File Explorer".
If "File Explorer" isn't shown on the list, you can select "Look for another app on this PC " and go to "c:\Windows\explorer.exe"
Click "Apply" , then click "Ok". Now the icons should properly display the "zip" icon instead of the Daz icon.
