Install manager for windows 8?

So far, I tried to reinstall all of my stuff from before on a new PC OS, but so far install manager doesn't seem to work for windows 8 but Daz studio does just fine?

Are you getting any errors? At what point is it failing - downloading or installing the content? Or is it installing DIM that is failing?

Daz studio works fine. however when I tried to install Daz install manager, it refused to start up... and I got an alert that said, "This app can't run on your PC. To find a working version, check with the software provider".

Also, my windows 8 is a 64 version... and the download page kept on giving me the windows 32 version. Which could be part of the problem too.

32bit software runs just fine on 64bit PC's,,so that's not going to be the problem.

The most common reason for this error is a corrupt download.The installer should be 54,666kb (53.3MB) .If yours is a different size I would suggest deleting that one and downloading it again.

Other problem is trying to install a 32 Bit program to Program Files folder which is for 64 Bit programs, Program Files (x86) folder is for 32 Bit programs. Ever since MicroSoft added UAC protection to Windows I prefer not to install to either Program Files folders when I have an options.

well, I checked the size of the download and sure enough, it was half the size it should had been. so I deleted that and tried again... sure enough the installation then worked.

I have downloaded this three time and the file is still 31,797kb and WON'T work on windows 8.1
