Is it possible to add duf. files to main menu menu bar, if so how?

I know that with Windows>Workspace>Customize I can Right click and "create new custom Action" and then add script files "dse?" to that action which I can then drag into the main menu.

More specifically my question is if I can do the same with duf files, more specifically things like Render setting save files or Pose files or Scene Subset. So I can create a menu called Render Settings and then have different render files to applied as an menu action.

Yes. I've added things like G8F and G8M base and Uber Shader to the toolbar before.

How? When I try to add duf files to custom action they don't show up at all.

You can right-click any file in Smart Content or Content Browser to create a custom action.

    Thanks.

Do you know how to set save it to a different menu option other than Favorites and Scripts? I created a "Render Settings" root menu but  when I create custom action, under the Root menu options only Scripts and Favorites menu show up as an option.

I don't know how to do it directly, but once you have your render settings saved to the Scripts and/or Favorites menu, you can go into the Customize menu, create a new subgroup under the Main Menu Bar called "&Render Settings" (or however you want it, but the & at the beginning makes it a menu bar), and drag the shortcuts you want into that new subgroup.

    That works thanks.

Man I love this forum. I didn't even know I wanted to do anything like this, but now I do! Thanks for the question and the answer!
