RTX and GTX in one system

Hey peeps, I have 2 x GTX 1080 Ti in my system and going to upgrade soon to a RTX 3090. Now i was wondering. Instead of removing the GTX cards would it be possible to run all 3 cards in daz? I know in the early days daz had this issue that when you have 2 cards and one is less good then the other daz would use the vram only of the lesser card but they do stack the cuda cores. Wonder if this issue been solved? Would the GTX only still be used for vram? But do the cuda cores still stack? Or will the GTX be a bottleneck against the 3090? Or is it possible within daz to deselect the cards like deselect the 2 GTX cards and then the 3090 will be used in full capacity incl vram? I mean if the cuda cores do stack then this would be helpfull in rendering animation more quickly as long as it stays with in the vram of the gtx cards. Right? Cuda cores is what make it render faster en vram makes sure that what you have in your scene fits on the vram, if not then it will fall back to cpu. Thats what i know thus far. Looking forward to your answers. Thanks

That's not how it works. If the scene fits in the VRAM of each of the cards, DS will use all of them to render. If it's too big for some of the cards then only the ones where it fits are used.

You might want to keep an old card for your main display\video games, and leave the 3090 strictly for GPU processing.
