How do we Move Body Parts Independently?

I'm hoping there is a way to move body parts independently without having to manually fix the whole figure at every keyframe. If I just want to move the hips without the entire upper body bending with it, how do I do that? Pinning just don't seem to work at all. It's bad enough I had to put in a primitive to reference the feet to stay in a relative position (adjusting at every keyframe). But to deal with the upper body too seem a bit much. I would animate faster if it was all hand drawn. Is there any settings that would loosen up the body so all parts can move without affecting adjacent bones positions?

The FK solution you are looking for would be this.

    - Select the hips (I think you mean the Pelvis bone)
    - Go to Parameters and there you will see Twist, Side-Side, Bend Attributes

You control individual body parts by selecting them and adjusting the attributes in the Parameters Tab.
