Predatron Metro_Hotel - Completely black in iray preview?

I have an issue with one of my scenes. It's the metro_hotel model by predatron.

When I load in the scene (merge it in or load it), my scene which was previously being previewed in iray perfectly, becomes completely black. Like this model seems to just drain out the light completely. I had tried adding lights, both liniar pointlight and distant lights and no change. It all just remains black.

Anyone know why this is? It looks as it should in texture mode.

That is an older product set up for 3delight. The included sky dome will be set not to cast shadows, which in 3Delight would let light in; in Iray, however, it will block all light sources thata re outside (the HDR or Sun/Sky, and any Distant lights0. Hide or delete the sky dome prop and the scene should render.
