Gen 8 Products Not Showing Up in Smart Content?

Out of nowhere my smart content pane isn't showing any gen 8 content when I select a gen 8 figure in the scene. Poses, materials, hair, etc...

Only if I have the box unchecked that says "Filter by content", which will obviously then show all content under the specific category. Everything is still in smart content if that's unchecked but won't appear if I do have it checked and a gen 8 figure selected.

This is only with gen 8, not gen 3 figures.

 

Any ideas of what has happened and/or what to do?

    try reinstalling genesis 8 Starter Essentials.

    Sounds like something hijacked the Genesis 8 Compatibility Bases. Before you re-install the Starter Essentials, what does the Scene Identification show with Genesis 8 selected? Just to identify a potential problem, if it hasn't been already...

    Here is what is shown under scene identification.

     

    Tried reinstalling gen 8 starter essentials. Nothing.

    I changed preferred base to gen 8 and that seems to have worked!
