scrolling problem in 4.7 content pane

before when scrolling thru my content pane tab, I used to be able to type in a letter and it would take me to that area to start looking for stuff. Now that letter (D) is used to navigate around in the view pane. Is there a new way to scroll thru my content faster or am I stuck having to go thru the entire list starting from A - Z. For example. I used to be able to go to Figures or People and press the letter "D" then it would take me to the Da section and I could easily get to Daz People. Can't do it now.

Shift-K will turn off the keyboard navigation in the viewport. There's also a button on the toolbars, if you use one of the default layouts.
