Does moving files affect scenes

I am in the middle of updating my pc, and in the process, I decided to put all the files onto another drive. I still need to get everything installed, but it dawned on me that it may affect the scenes I have been working on and the characters in those scenes. I am still in the middle of reinstalling everything.

It dawned on me that this might affect my scenes. Will DAZ have an issue finding the files, or is it smart enough to know where they moved to since they were reinstalled? And how about the manually installed files?

As long as DS can find the files, it will connect them to the content in your scenes. I've used scenes across different computers with different files paths, and there were no issues, as long as the content was installed correctly.

I dunno, I used to install everything manually for years. Then I got a new rig and decided to use DIM and even though I setup the right paths in DS, it stopped seeing any of my old files, only the new DIM files.
