Hi, I have a simple question. When a preview of scene are very slow to show, is for RAM memory or for GPU? When I load a complete scene, like a full bedroom my scene preview is very very slow,
The Viewport pane is handled by OpenGL, and that is handled by your Graphics Card.
You could try Edit > Preferences > Interface > Display Optimisation, and set it to 'None' that might help. If it doesn't, how much RAM does you system have?
I assume that you are running a 32 bit system? If not, you could possibly upgrade to 64 bit, and that would allow more RAM to be seen.
Win XP 32 bit can only see 2 GB RAM, there is a workaround for 3 GB but even that Is not going to help that much. In a 64 bit OS like Win 7, your PC will be able to use 4 GB, it may even see 4 GB in the 32 bit version, I'm not certain of that.
I bought a 64 bit PC 3 years ago, and it had 8 GB RAM. I upgraded to 16 GB very soon after, and that made things a lot smoother. 16 GB is all that I can use in Win 7 Home Premium, or I would upgrade my RAM even further. Large scenes with lots of props etc, are always going to be a problem with only 3 GB, I would recommend an upgrade if you can.
We would all love to have state of the art systems, and I know it is not possible for everyone (even me :)), but 3 GB of RAM is really on the edge. There may be other things that you can do. If you post what OS you are using, and what chip you have, someone may be able to help more. There are always things that can be done, like rendering a scene in parts rather than all at once. Hang on and see if anyone else offers better advice.
OMG. My Pc is obsolete as you mean. It is a Intel dual core 2.9. Before I buy a New pc system of 32 bits I have a some questions. .DUF. Save files from DAZ 32 bits are compatible with DAZ 64 bits? I have a lot of work in my DAZ 32 bits. Have Lyp synch pluggin in DAZ 64 bits? Thanks for your help.

,duf files are the same and can be opened in both 32 & 64 bit versions of DAZ Studio. Lip sync is only in the 32-bit version, but you can have both 32 and 64 bit versions installed on a 64-bit system, so you can use the 32-bit for lip synch and the 64-bit for larger scenes.

Hi, thanks for the tip. I have 3 GB RAM. And I have a low cost Nvidia Ge force 9500 GT graphic card 1 GB .
Well, 3 GB of RAM is a problem.
