I can't find my Daz3d folder in the documents. I had installed it before, and it was there. But I messed it up so I wasn't able to put my 3rd party items into the studio in my library. So I uninstalled it and reinstalled it today. I wasn't aware of the update, so I was still using 4.6 before I uninstalled daz. When I reinstalled it, it was 4.7. Do you think this has anything to do with it?

I am not sure exactly what you mean here?

Did you install your content using DIM (DAZ Install Manager), if so, you DAZ Content folder will be at :
    C:\Users\Public\Documents\My DAZ 3D Library

You will need to add that in Edit > Preferences > Content Library > Content Directory Manager under BOTH DAZ Studio Formats and Poser Formats.

If your content is somewhere else, then add that path to both formats, and the content will appear in the Content Library pane.

If you are referring to Smart Content, then you may need to reimport Metadata. Installing a new version of DAZ Studio does NOT touch your installed content at all.

The more information you can give, the easier it will be to help you.

Ah, yes. I did use DIM and I wasn't aware it was located there. Thank you so much! I'm still relatively new to this and I'm pretty bad at explaining things. I've found it now, thanks.
