Victoria 3 wardrobe morphs

I purchased a set of boots (Gothic Couture)recently, and after further investigation, I discovered they were for V3. I cannot find much more info about that. Is there a way to morph them in to G2/V4/V6? I've tried plenty of rotations, translations, fit scenarios, ans I can't fit them to her feet. I can get the shin pretty much set, but her feet stay on top of the boot instead of inside it. I've tried expanding, scaling, most everything I can think of. Is there a utility to morph these into a G2 or V4/6 figure? If not, I just bought a set of boots to keep in the closet :)

I'm soooo trying to find a good set of female goth platform boots/shoes instead of having to use stiletto boots. And as a question, if I bought the V3 base if it would work with V4 & & 6?

Some old high heel boots were designed to "fit" with the foot in the flat position and sticking out of the boots. You were supposed to hide the feet and toes.

:ohh: well that would explain a good deal then lol. I hadn't thought of just hiding them. I thought that would 'ghost' the bones. I'll give it a shot. Hope it works, and thanks for the tip.

This is my last resort method for fitting boots to a character they weren't designed for. I'm a Poser user and avoid Genesis, but the ideas should translate:

Find a pair of boots that has separate CR2’s for the left & right (I’ll talk about boots that load in pairs later).
Load one of the boots. DO NOT CONFORM. That’s the key to why this works.
Resize & position the boot so that the top of the boot is at a height that makes it look natural. I usually try to get the knees at the right place if I’m doing thigh boots.
Use scale dials or magnets to adjust the top of the boot so that there is a solid ring of the boot visible around the leg.
Hide the portion of the leg below this ring. Maybe you can do this with the hierarchy palette (or DS equivalent) or maybe you will have to make a custom trans map. The wider the ring, the sloppier you can be with the trans map.
PARENT the boot to whichever body part the visible ring is on. Usually the shin or thigh.
The boot will now follow the body part it is parented to. You must pose joints below that manually.

One nice bonus with this method is that you can use flat -footed poses with even the most extreme heels.

If the pair of boots is a single CR2, just load it twice and make one boot in each pair invisible.
