Hi
I'm Graeme and I've been trying to get into 3d art since the old Amiga 1200 days. I think the first Pc 3d program I purchased was Poser 4, and I was going to do so much with it, but a lack of patience and frustrating software/hardware and I've yet to create something I'm happy with. So now I am on Poser Pro 2014. I have dipped my toe into DAZ on occassion, but the interface is quite different and I though I'd better stick with what I don't know, even though I've had to pay for Poser and DAZ is free.. That and the majority of the models and resouces I have accululated over the years are Poser dependent.

Can you please give a link to the item in question?
DAZ Studio files (DUF) can be used inside Poser from version 9 upwards using the DSON importer for Poser which is also free,
http://www.daz3d.com/dson-importer-for-poser
You need to 'buy' that as well to use DUF format models inside Poser.
If the product just says that it has a DSON Core Installer then the chances are that it is for DS only.
DSON are DS files, which is why you need the DSON Importer to use them in Poser
If it supports poser it will have either a Poser (Ps) installer or Poser Companion file (Pcf)
